During this programme farmers were trained to manage their farm waste and convert it into useful compost which could be used in their fields. This was a successful programme as at the end of the programme 30 youths started their own vermi-composting units to produce organic compost out of farm waste.

This is a step towards organic farming. This also reduced the cost of inputs in farming.
